I’m an aspiring dancer in NYC! I’m a New Yorker now, but New Jersey, my home state, will always be close to my heart. I love ballet, and when I’m not dancing or reading about dance or watching dance, I enjoy taking photographs, (esp. backstage), reading a good book, observing life and people around me on the streets and in the subway, writing, and listening to music.
Favorite writers: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Willa Cather, Leo Tolstoy, Oscar Wilde, Shakespeare, Louisa May Alcott, Charlotte Bronte, most writers of the classics and quite a few contemporary artists I’ve learned about recently!
(BTW, for amazing short (bedtime) stories (purred) by Miette, go to miettecast.com )

A few fun facts: vegetarian/animal lover, Catholic, humanitarian, am kind of a nail polish fanatic, don’t yet have my drivers’ license, (well it’s useless in the city anyway…), am really good at reading body language. Love: baking/cooking, singing (primarily polyphony), the NY public library, the ocean, jazz, a good book, winter’s snow, coffee, kindness to animals, and a favorite addiction, Tumblr.
